Hosting and associated requirements.

Domain -A Domain is the first thing you need. This is the internet identification that directs consumers to your website. Try to keep the domain name as short as possible and still there be enough there to get people to associate the domain with your website. Use only a ICANN approved registrar to get your domain from. I personally recommend GoDaddy for this function.

Server - Once you have a Domain you need to have a place to put your website. I use Lunarpages myself and have had great service and support from them but if you are doing this on your own shop around and see what you can find but be aware of the degree of service and the money you have to pay for it.

Moon)Dawgz Web Hosting - If I build and maintain your website except for the domain I take care of all the rest. Your website with me includes email addresses using your domain, forwarding if needed, mysql databases if you have a blog on your site and maintence of all of it. If you need e-commerce we can handle that but it is on a per job basis and the cost will depend on how big a site it is. This will all be discussed and decided on before construction of your site begins. Modification outside the original contract will be at extra cost.
